Week 6 Term Three 2020

Week 6

Welcome to week 6!!

I am so proud of the new Kakano 8 children. They helped welcome our new three school visitors on Friday and we look forward to seeing Chloe, Liam and Jack back again next Friday for their next school visit.

They have settled in so well and learning their routines and jobs to do at school.

A reminder that we are still in Alert Level 2 until further notice after tomorrow’s announcements. In week 5’s blog post are the reminders for what Level 2 looks like at our school.

Thank you to all of the families who regularly read the blog posts for the week and who have returned the home school learning packs. Teachers put out the weekly notices to make sure you, at home, are aware of all that is going on in Kakano for the week.

The blog posts are completed by teachers each Sunday afternoon, so that you as parents can get into the habit of checking it on Sunday evening before school starts back each Monday.

Tomorrow our pantry will be out at the church car park again. Thank you to those families who contributed to this as well. Please come to our pantry and take what you need for your families. There will be an assortment of loaves of bread and rolls.

Poem books come home on a Friday each with a new poem so get in the habit of reading these with your children too. If they are too tired to attempt to read their books or poems, read it to them instead. THANKS!
