A very special 'Jesus' lunch - Our very own "Last Supper"

Today in Kakano we all experienced the type of food Jesus and his people would have eaten and wore the clothes Jesus would have worn.

There was a hum of excitement as the students saw the big banquet style tables set up with grazing foods, exactly like Jesus would have eaten many years before us.

We discussed the types of food we have today and how Jesus would not have had a lot of the food types we have in our modern world.

The students all tried grapes, grape juice, olives, raisins, figs, bread, eggs, honey, and fish, just like was available in Palestine back in Jesus's day.

It was very special and we all enjoyed partaking. The dressing up was exciting too and we giggled as we saw each other in a style of clothing so different from what we are used to!

I am once again proud of Kakano 8 for experiencing this special Jesus lunch day!
