IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS

 IMPORTANT

17th August 2020

Dear Parents

Please ensure that you are regularly checking this blog.

I have now sent you all a link to your child's Educa site.

The Blog posts from over the past few days have been very important. Please ensure that you bring the ENTIRE contents of the heavy book bags back that went home on Friday. Sometimes our children's reading levels change quite quickly and if we ever need to go into a further lockdown level we need to ensure that all children have the right learning packs for at home.

We often send newsletters and notices home in the book bags. CHECK these every day please and KEEP the notices and newsletters for you to refer back to.

Please bring back:

  • All the books in the Magenta bookbag
  • The maths, poem, and writing workbooks and name card
  • The ice cream sticks and dice
  • Poem books

Also, the reading books that your child reads each week will change each week and need to be returned on a Monday.

If you are confused please come try to catch me in the morning or after school or bring it all back and I'll sort it out fo you.

Thank you to those parents who have already completed these tasks.

Reminders:

Please read and check book bags every day for homework and messages from school.

Also, please read the blog posts that your teachers post full of important information.

Check your email for your Educa Email if you have not accepted it already.

Blog post can be found at: https://stmkakano82020.blogspot.com/

Library books to be returned before Thursday each week.

Poem books are also to come back on a Monday. These go home on a Friday with a new poem each week to read and practice with your children.

Word Walls stay in book bags and are the words you children are currently learning to identify and read.

Any issues - email me janet@stmarysrotorua.school.nz

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your children are settling in so well.

Mrs Trask

They are also available at times from The Warehouse. Please name your child's hat clearly. Swimming Last week Kakano 8 had a wonderful time in the pool.  It is very warm so even on cold da
